SALES AGENT for East Midlands & East Anglia

An exciting opportunity to join our existing team and work with one of the UK’s most successful suppliers of souvenirs and gifts.

For over fifty years, Elgate Products, a family-owned company based in Kent have been importers and wholesalers of souvenirs and exclusively designed giftware. We supply gift wholesalers, cash and carry outlets, large and independent retailers, garden centres, theme parks and other gift and souvenir outlets.

You will have plenty of opportunity to drive growth through existing accounts whilst winning new business.
You will be responsible for maintaining our current customer base and developing sales.
Responsibilities also include identifying new opportunities for increased business, recognising and reporting on new products, price changes, promotions and competitor activity.
You will be required to attend our exhibition stand at the NEC for our major trade show in February.
Full product training will be provided in additional to the latest iPad installed with sales and product ordering software.
In addition to support from the Sales Director, our sales office team will provide customer service, and support to the field sales team.
With sales success, our company will look to further support your territory with substantial investment in developing area specific souvenir gifts.

Who we’re looking for:

An ideal candidate will be experienced in sales selling into the retail sector, and will have territory sales experience with FMCG, although consideration will be given to those outside this sector. As well as a high level of autonomy, self-reliance, self-motivation, and professionalism, you will also need to be resilient and enthusiastic to meet objectives and close deals.
You should be smart and presentable with a professional approach and a full driving licence.
