GCA Royal Mail

The Greeting Card Association is continuing to champion the card industry, and the need for a reliable, regular, affordable and national postal service.

GCA CEO Amanda Fergusson is shortly meeting with Kevin Hollinrake, Minister of State in the Department for Business and Trade again, this time with colleagues from The Independent Retailers Confederation (IRC).

During the meeting, Amanda and IRC members plan to share data with Minister Hollinrake from independent retailers that he can take away and act on.

“We know the issues our members have had delivering consumer orders via Royal Mail, and feedback from retailers highlight consumer concern about stamp prices. We have written again to Royal Mail, Ofcom and relevant MPs on your behalf, but would ask you too to ensure your voice is heard”

The GCA is asking all retailers to complete the survey link below, and add in the comments section any other points, particularly about the impact of postal service and prices.

Amanda said: “We know the issues our members have had delivering consumer orders via Royal Mail, and feedback from retailers highlight consumer concern about stamp prices. We have written again to Royal Mail, Ofcom and relevant MPs on your behalf, but would ask you too to ensure your voice is heard on this and other issues affecting retail by completing this survey.”

The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/IRCHBQ1-GCA. The deadline for completing it is midday Thursday May 16.
