BBC Radio 4 set to spotlight Fox Under The Moon

A few years ago, illustrator and author Stacey McNeill was sketching quiet fox-and-moon conversations in a tiny touring caravan on Anglesey – simply for comfort and joy.

Today, that small beginning has grown into Fox Under The Moon: a heart-led brand with a community of more than 300,000 followers worldwide, offering books, stationery, and gifts.

Now based in the North East of England and working alongside her husband Jamie, Stacey is entering her most exciting chapter yet with the release of her first traditionally published book.

“The growing momentum has also led to Stacey being invited as a guest on BBC Radio 4’s magazine programme ‘Saturday Live,’ where she’ll share her story on Saturday October 25, from 9am”

The full-colour hardback gift title, “Fox Under The Moon – Seasons of Comfort and Hope,” will be published by Quercus (Hachette UK) on October 23 in the UK, and by Weldon Owen in the US and Canada on January 6.

But the book launch marks only the beginning. The growing momentum has also led to Stacey being invited as a guest on BBC Radio 4’s magazine programme ‘Saturday Live,’ where she’ll share her story on Saturday October 25, from 9am.

Alongside publication, Fox Under The Moon is expanding into a gift range through a new collaboration with award-winning gift wholesaler Joe Davies – set to launch at Spring Fair. The collection will translate the brand’s most-loved illustrations and sentiments into affordable, heartfelt keepsakes.

At the same time, The Art File will launch a new Fox Under The Moon greeting card collection in January, bringing its licensed range to 36 designs – most featuring artwork taken directly from the new book.

Stacey said: “I’ve always believed that small words of comfort – whether in a book, a card, or a keepsake – can make a big difference to someone’s day. Seeing Fox Under The Moon reach people in so many different forms is the most humbling joy.”
