Duncan Singleton joins board of BHETA

BHETA updates

The recent Annual General Meeting of BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association) saw Duncan Singleton, trading director at Ultimate Products, join the board. This follows the retirement from the BHETA board of Alastair Fisher, joint managing director of Taylor’s Eye Witness.

With more than 20 years’ experience in the small domestic appliances sector, Duncan brings an abundance of expertise and insight to this role. Throughout his extensive time at Ultimate Products, the owner of iconic brands Salter and Beldray, he played a key role in driving the company’s dynamic growth and expansion.

Commenting on the appointment, BHETA chairman Andrew Weiss said: “The whole board is delighted to welcome Duncan, and I’m sure that the wider membership will be equally pleased.

“I would also like to thank Alastair for his great work over many years’ involvement in BHETA at board level, including three years as president. He has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, as has been self-evident by his many contributions to the association during this time. In particular, he has also been instrumental in focusing BHETA on its lobbying initiatives, something which has been so well received by our members.”

The full Board of BHETA now comprises:
