Home fragrance sector gets its own London trade show

A new trade exhibition dedicated exclusively to the fast-growing home fragrance sector will make its debut in London next summer.

The London Home Fragrance Show will take place at the Business Design Centre in Islington on July 9 and July 10, bringing together leading fragrance producers, brand founders, suppliers, and retail buyers for two days of buying, networking, trend insights, and product discovery.

The event is organised by Honegger Ltd in association with The Fragrance Foundation, and supported by The Giftware Association – signifying strong industry backing for this specialist new platform.

Honegger Ltd said: “Home fragrance is one of the most dynamic categories in home and gift retail – worth over £700m annually in the UK, and projected to reach £1bn by 2030. Yet until now, there has been no dedicated UK or European trade event focused solely on this market.”

Rob Sherwood, Joint CEO at Honegger Ltd, added: “We identified a clear gap, home fragrance is a thriving and highly creative sector, but brands and buyers have been underserved by generalist trade fairs. This show creates a space that is curated, premium, and built for meaningful commercial connections.”

The show’s first edition will feature 80 to 100 carefully selected exhibitors, including candle makers; suppliers of reed diffusers, essential oils, room sprays, wax melts,  burners, bath & body fragrance products and accessories; fragrance houses and raw materials suppliers; and luxury packaging and contract manufacturing partners.

A free seminar programme will offer sessions on trend forecasting, sustainability expertise, fragrance compliance, retail strategy guidance, and growth workshops for emerging brands – designed to support industry development and innovation.

Visitors will include buyers from independent lifestyle stores, boutiques, department stores, concept retailers, supermarkets, homeware retailers, garden centres, gift shops, and the hospitality, spa, and wellness sectors.

Honegger Ltd explained that the Business Design Centre was chosen for its “design-led aesthetic and excellent accessibility for both UK and international visitors. Its scale supports a refined, intimate, and highly curated event experience – distinct from larger, general trade fairs”.

Founded in Milan in 1970, The Honegger Group has specialised in the international trade fair sector for more than 50 years, with offices in Milan, Düsseldorf, Paris, and London. The company works globally to support brands and associations in maximising their presence in key international markets.
