University Games, the leading UK games and puzzles specialist and home of Lagoon and The Learning Journey, has announced two significant appointments as part of its ongoing strategy to strengthen its UK and international business operations.
The company has promoted Sally Irwin to the role of European export manager, reflecting a strategic focus on accelerating growth across export markets. Sally, who began her career at University Games managing a sales territory before progressing to a national account manager role, will now lead the company’s expansion across Europe and beyond. While she will continue to oversee a selection of key retail accounts, she will now be focused on driving export development.
David Adams joins the business as senior national account manager. He brings a wealth of industry experience, having previously held roles at Mookie Toys and Spin Master, and most recently served as sales director at Curious Universe. His new role will include managing and expanding the Amazon account, alongside leveraging his extensive experience across national retail channels.
Mark Jones, sales director at University Games, commented: “I’d like to offer my congratulations to Sally on her progression and welcome David to the team. Both appointments demonstrate our commitment to continued growth and driving the business forward over the coming years; it’s certainly an exciting time to be part of University Games.”
These appointments underline University Games’ continued investment and ambition to expand both domestically and internationally within the competitive games and puzzles market.
