The Giftware Association launches Home & Gift Industry Champions Initiative

GA Champions

The Giftware Association (The GA) has launched its new Home & Gift Industry Champions Initiative, bringing together a select group of respected members to help shape the future of the UK home and giftware industry.

The GA said: As the home and gift sector navigates economic pressures and an increasingly competitive marketplace, the importance of collaboration and shared insight has never been greater.

“This Initiative brings together individuals whose experience, perspective, and integrity can help inform meaningful decisions and strengthen the industry from within. The group will ensure that the real-world challenges and opportunities facing businesses are reflected in the conversations and initiatives that shape the sector.

“The Industry Champions are not just figureheads. They will play a meaningful role in moving our industry forward through informed insight and advocacy.”

The GA added that the Champions will bring the voice of members directly into the heart of GA discussions, help shape key priorities and initiatives, and share insights on trends, challenges, and opportunities. They will also support and mentor peers, contributing to a more connected and collaborative community.

Beyond the individuals involved, the Initiative is designed to deliver broader value to the entire home and gift community. By harnessing collective expertise, it aims to strengthen industry representation at a strategic level, ensure GA initiatives are aligned with member needs, encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing, and build confidence during a period of ongoing change.

Insights gathered through the Champions via quarterly forums and ongoing engagement will help shape The GA’s priorities and support the long-term growth and resilience of the industry.

This opportunity is deliberately limited, ensuring a high-quality, engaged group that reflects a diverse cross-section of the industry, including retailers, brands, SMEs, and service providers.

The GA is seeking individuals who are deeply committed to the success of the industry, respected by their peers, well connected within their sector, and motivated to play an active role in shaping its future.

The Initiative is not defined by business size or profile, but by credibility, engagement, and willingness to contribute.

Gemma Sault, managing director of The GA, commented: “Our industry is built on passionate and knowledgeable people who care deeply about its future. With the launch of our Home & Gift Industry Champions Initiative, we are creating a space for those trusted voices to come together and help guide our thinking, strengthen our community, and ensure we move forward with clarity and confidence.

“This is about meaningful influence – bringing real experience into the conversations that shape our sector and ensuring our industry remains connected, representative, and future-ready.”
