Ravensburger reveals illustrators behind new Diddly Squat Farm puzzle series

Ravensburger collab with Diddly Squat

Ravensburger has revealed the artists behind its new collection of jigsaw puzzles celebrating the famed Diddly Squat Farm and Farm Shop, which are available later this month.

The new series of three puzzles comprises a 1000-piece, a 500-piece circular, and a 100XXL-piece 2D format for children. The company worked closely with Diddly Squat Farm Shop co-founder Lisa Hogan throughout the selection and design process.

“The whole process of creating this exclusive licensed collection has been pure joy,” said Ravensburger global product manager Hayley Holland, who worked on the development of the line.

“We selected trusted artists and partners that we knew could capture the essence of this much-loved farm, and with the designs now all complete, it’s clear they delivered that in tractor-loads.”

Represented by This is Iris licensing director Sarah Lawrence, illustrator Andy Tudor applied his comedy style to the creation of the 1000-piece design. The image celebrates the haphazard day-to-day life at the Cotswold farm shop and is packed with details that fans of the setting will know and love, including a pair of farmers at the heart of the action.

“We’re delighted to be working once again with our long-term partners Ravensburger on the launch of the new Diddly Squat Farm puzzle,” commented Sarah Lawrence. “This collaboration celebrates the joy of storytelling through art, bringing together beautifully crafted artwork with one of the world’s most loved puzzle brands to capture the charm, character, and spirit of Diddly Squat in a truly engaging and collectible way.”

The 500-piece circular puzzle depicts a year in farming and was illustrated by Stuart Matthews. He first worked with Ravensburger in 2025 when he was selected to design a top-secret puzzle for the inaugural UK Nationals Speed Puzzle Championship.

The 100XXL-piece 2D format children’s puzzle is illustrated by the creative agency Blue Kangaroo Design. Managing director Jason Knights commented: “Designing the Diddly Squat Farm jigsaw was a project we thoroughly enjoyed. The challenge was to capture the energy, humour, and unmistakable character of the farm in a format that the fans would recognise.”

Blue Kangaroo Design’s 100XXL format puzzle design invites children to explore the fun world of farming and is packed with details to engage young puzzlers.
