Exclusively Show, organised by the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA), returned to London’s Business Design Centre on June 8 and June 9 for its annual showcase, alongside a significant charitable initiative demonstrating the industry’s ongoing commitment to social impact and community support.
Each year, exhibitors at Exclusively Show donate surplus and sample stock to support the event’s long-standing charity partner, Rainy Day Trust. This year marked an expansion of the initiative, with the charity partnering with In Kind Directto broaden the reach and impact of donated goods.
Organisers confirmed that a total of 11 pallets of products were collected during this year’s campaign. The donated items, spanning a wide range of home and consumer goods, will be distributed to families in need across the UK.
The majority will be channelled through In Kind Direct’s national redistribution network, while the remainder will support the Rainy Day Trust’s forthcoming “Thousand Smiles” campaign.
Speaking on the initiative, Anna Skeats, CEO of Rainy Day Trust, praised the collaborative spirit shown by exhibitors and partners throughout the event. “What really stood out was the spirit of generosity and care that runs right through this sector,” she said. “Exclusively Show is a space where connections, conversations, and collaboration can really flourish, and we are so grateful to have been part of it.”
The annual donation drive continues to highlight the industry’s ability to mobilise quickly and effectively, transforming surplus exhibition stock into meaningful support for thousands of people across the UK.
