Must See at Home & Gift: Le Toy Van

Must See LeToy Van

Inspired by Britain’s rich motoring heritage, Le Toy Van’s new GT Series is a beautifully crafted wooden car collection designed for little racers, grown-up car lovers, and collectors alike.

Founded in 1995 by Georges Le Van and now led by second-generation family member and managing director Steven Le Van, the Hampton Court-based family business is known worldwide for its sustainable wooden toys, sold in more than 100 countries.

The GT Series marks an exciting new chapter for the brand, blending nostalgic automotive design, imaginative play, and collectible craftsmanship. Made using responsibly sourced FSC-certified beechwood and birchwood, each car celebrates iconic motoring style with playful charm and display-worthy appeal.

While children will love zooming them around, grown-up fans and self-confessed kidults may find themselves collecting them too. Adding to the excitement, the range includes a mystery car, giving collectors an extra thrill as they complete the set.

The collection has already gained recognition, having been shortlisted for a Junior Design Award, recognising the range’s standout design and play value. Inspired by Surrey’s rich automotive legacy, the GT Series reflects Le Toy Van’s commitment to thoughtful craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and toys made to be treasured for generations.

Steven says: “Cars spark imagination at any age. We wanted to create something children would love to play with, but that grown-up car fans would genuinely want to collect too. Having them made here in England makes the collection even more special to us.”

Like all Le Toy Van products, the GT Series features plastic-free, recyclable packaging and water-based, child-safe paints, combining sustainability with timeless design for children, collectors, and anyone who still gets excited by a classic motor.
