Home & Gift Association, previously known as The Giftware Association, is delighted to announce the launch of Gift of the Year 2027. Entries will open following the competition’s official launch at the Home & Gift Buyers’ Festival in Harrogate, which takes place from July 19 to July 22.
As the awards open for a new year, entry prices will remain frozen for 2027. The decision reflects Home & Gift Association’s continued commitment to supporting brands of all sizes by helping them gain recognition, connect with retailers, and showcase their products to the industry’s leading buyers and decision-makers, who also judge the awards.
Among the updates for 2027 is the introduction of a new Luxury Gift category, recognising products that demonstrate exceptional craftsmanship, quality, and desirability. Reflecting the continued growth of the luxury gifting sector, the category provides a dedicated platform for brands creating products that offer a premium gifting experience.
The ever-popular My Gift Of All Time category will return as ICONs. A favourite among entrants and the wider industry, it celebrates gifts that have stood the test of time, whether launched recently or many years ago. It recognises enduring products that continue to delight consumers, drive sales, and remain successful year after year, giving brands the opportunity to spotlight the true icons of their collections.
