Shout About!, the toy and family entertainment industry’s new social commerce infrastructure, is inviting a small number of UK toy companies to become launch partners ahead of its Q4 go-to-market.
Founded by four senior toy and licensing industry leaders, Shout About! has spent the past 12 months building the infrastructure to make this launch possible: a technology partner, media agency, commercial terms, and initial investment are all now in place.
“Toy brands don’t need another marketplace listing lost in the noise,” said Nic Jones, co-founder of Shout About!. “They need discovery, first-party data, and a channel built around how people actually shop today”
The opportunity comes as the toy industry faces a widening gap between where shoppers now discover products and where brands still sell them. UK social commerce is forecast to reach £16 billion by 2028, growing 20 per cent year on year. Meanwhile, suppliers are exposed to the traditional channels that were never built for discovery.
Shout About! was built to close that gap. Combining a TikTok Shop presence with a Shopify-powered consumer marketplace at shoutabout.shop, the platform gives toy brands a turnkey route into social commerce, backed by a proprietary Operating System that captures first-party purchaser data on every sale and shares it straight back to suppliers in real time.
