The Giftware Association (GA) has confirmed that the entry date for the 2023 Gift of the Year Awards has been extended by two weeks to December 15.
GA PR & marketing manager Chris Workman said: “We have listened to a lot of companies who have been affected by supply chain issues and it makes sense to extend the competition by a bit longer, as we want to give everyone a chance to enter. Whether you are waiting on your actual products, samples, or photography, this is your chance to get involved.
“With the extension you still have a chance to enter your products right up until December 15 and can take advantage of some of the entrants’ marketing, which you can see on the Gift of the Year Blog.
“Being crowned a winner gives your business industrywide recognition, and previous entrants have seen a huge boost to their sales and revenue. The competition has helped elevate businesses through exposure at trade shows, in the winners’ brochure, and on social media.”
The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that the Live Judging round of the shortlisted products will take place throughout the duration of Spring Fair, which will be held at the NEC in Birmingham from February 5 to February 8.
Here are the new timelines for entries:
COMPETITION CLOSES: DECEMBER 15 2022
ONLINE JUDGING COMMENCES: DECEMBER 16 2022
SHORTLIST ANNOUNCED: JANUARY 3 2023
