Following the retirement of Langs’ Scottish agent Ian Johnstone, the Derby-based gifts and home décor supplier has appointed Richard McKnight to the role.
Langs joint managing director Keith Edmondson said: “Ian has been an agent with Langs for over 23 years and has built up an incredible relationship with his customers. He will of course be missed by customers and all the staff at Langs, and we all wish him a well-deserved retirement.”
Keith added: “Home & Gift will be the first show since my 23 years at the company that Ian won’t be on the stand greeting customers (although there is a rumour that he will still be in Harrogate enjoying all it has to offer).
“A very familiar face stepping into Ian’s shoes is Richard McKnight, who many of our customers will already know very well. Harrogate will be his first show with Langs, and I know he’s very excited to meet and greet many of our customers.
“This is Richard’s first week as an agent for Langs and he is hitting the ground running (as I knew he would, hence his appointment) We are delighted to have Richard onboard Team Langs.”
