London Zoo, run by the conservation charity ZSL (Zoological Society of London), has announced a partnership with children’s products innovator Make Believe Ideas.
The range includes a plush collection, plush notebooks, ‘Zippazoo’ bag buddies, cloth books, and clip & go plush. Featuring endangered animals that are a focus for London Zoo and ZSL, the ‘Zoo Crew’ range will amplify their conservation work around the world.
The collection includes several at-risk species, including red pandas, Asian elephants, reticulated giraffes, pygmy hippos, Humboldt penguins, Asiatic lions, and Linne’s two-toed sloths.
Make Believe Ideas will launch the range at Spring Fair in February 2026. CEO Joanna Bicknell said: “We’re delighted to be working with the ZSL team on this range of products. For our first foray into licensing, it was essential that we aligned with a brand which shares our core values and could perfectly blend with our individual approach to publishing and creating ranges that children want to spend time with – and parents want to spend money on.
“Working with ZSL to bring the ‘Zoo Crew’ to life has been so much fun for me and our creative team. We can’t wait to see this range hit the market in 2026- and more importantly, reach the hands of the next generation of animal lovers.”
ZSL brand licensing manager Abbie Taylor added: “It’s been so much fun working with Make Believe Ideas on this innovative and fun plush range, which focuses on some of the species we’re working to protect. We can’t wait to see the products on the shelves in UK retailers and beyond, helping to raise valuable funds for our charity while also highlighting ZSL’s worldwide scientific and conservation efforts.”
