Family-owned home fragrance and bath & body brand Max Benjamin has appointed Richard Wood as UK & Europe sales director as it looks to accelerate growth across the region.
Richard has a wealth of experience, having worked at a senior level over the last 20 years for companies including Wax Lyrical, Bolsius, and more recently The Fragrance House Group.
Commenting on the appointment, Max Benjamin managing director David Van den Bergh said: “We’re thrilled to add someone of Richard’s calibre to our ambitious team as we continue to develop Max Benjamin in the UK and Europe. His commercial nous and deep knowledge of the market will help us develop our unique collections and support our retailers. Exciting times ahead!”
Richard joins an established team based in the UK and Ireland. He said: “I’ve long been an admirer of the brand and, in particular, its attention to detail and support for retailers. It’s a great time to join the team and help develop the strategy, the products, and the reach of the brand.

Max Benjamin was founded in County Wicklow, Ireland, in the late 1990s and today exports to more than 50 countries worldwide.
