As a family business, growth has always been about more than just numbers for The Country Candle Co., and the company is thrilled to share an important milestone: Ainsley Moyle has officially been appointed to the leadership team as head of operations & projects.
Ainsley joins his father Karl and brother Joseph (who are managing director and sales & marketing director respectively) with a wealth of experience in R&D and project management.
Joseph commented: “Ainsley will be instrumental in driving strategic growth as the company works towards its vision: to become a country-luxe home fragrance household brand across the UK and the trusted, preferred partner for luxury home fragrance goods.

“As the company continues to expand both in the UK and internationally in the retail sector and with our bespoke project arm, Scentelier’s, Ainsley’s focus will be on improving operational efficiency, strengthening our supply chain, and enhancing our bespoke manufacturing capabilities – as well as overseeing our all-important new product development programme.”
Upon joining, Ainsley said: “I’m really excited about this new opportunity to help drive efficiencies, especially as it’s our family business. The company is on a great trajectory for growth, and with that comes the need to streamline processes and continue to enhance certain areas of our production facility. I have six-plus years of experience in managing major R&D projects, so I’m really looking forward to applying those skills and playing a key part in launching new ranges and products for The Country Candle Co.”
Karl added: “To be able to bring another son into the family business has been a goal of mine for some time, so I’m very pleased to have Ainsley join us in this pivotal role. With the training and passion he has, it’s going to give the company a fresh spring in its step as we continue to expand our offering and strive to be the ‘best in class’ own-label manufacturer. This milestone has also allowed me to free up significant time to focus on strategic sales growth.”
