Straits Trading is set to wow visitors with its largest-ever festive selection, featuring more than 700 lines including animated characters and plush, and innovative seasonal displays
Harrogate Christmas & Gift is an important trade show for the team at Straits Trading. Christmas products make up a large percentage of its Autumn and Winter offering, which will be bigger than ever in 2026.
The festive selection has grown to more than 700 lines, including beautifully themed departments. The Woodland collection features pretty ornaments with pastel hues and a sprinkling of glitter – adorable forest animals gathering in festive cheer. Another range celebrates a traditional style of decorations, including a slipper-clad Father Christmas, cosy fireplaces, soaring sleighs, and the ever-supportive Mrs Claus.
Alongside these new themes, Straits has further developed ranges that have proven successful. The bestselling glitter water spinners have evolved from lantern shapes into more complex designs with layered imagery, as well as musical and animated pieces.

Steve’s passion is infectious, and his love for Christmas has prompted a move to a larger stand at the show. Newly located opposite Kaemingk in Hall G on an inviting L-shaped stand, he’s excited to have the space to show off the new collection to existing and new customers.
Christmas trees, light-up glassware, and spinners are staples in the Straits collection, but for 2026, animated characters and plush are sure to draw a crowd. A set of singing plush animals, complete with moving mouths, brings extra fun to Christmas décor, while some of the larger moving Santa decorations are impossible to miss.
It’s not just the large pieces that have been sprinkled with Straits’ magic; every item has been carefully considered. For example, a set of hanging decorations comes complete with a light-up stand, making them easy to display, while the pretty glassware ranges gently rotate to create a sparkling light show.
Straits will also bring a Halloween collection to Harrogate. The department includes jump-scare characters, light-up decorations, and glitter water spinners. Just be careful if you walk past the clown!
