Sunshine Lane launches neuro-inclusive card range

Following a successful reception at Spring Fair, gift and greetings brand Sunshine Lane has launched its latest collection, ‘Wired for Wonderful’. Created by illustrator and founder Emma Fox, the range offers a grounded perspective on neurodiversity, intentionally moving away from “superpower” metaphors and clinical clichés.

The 20-piece collection celebrates lived experiences that are often overlooked by the mainstream industry, such as the “Aha!” moment of a late-in-life diagnosis and the simple intimacy of sharing comfortable silence with a loved one. While the designs provide a deep sense of validation for the neurodivergent community, they also hold broad appeal for anyone who feels they don’t quite fit the traditional mould.

Designed with sensory needs in mind, each card is printed on high-quality, FSC-certified matte cardstock, offering a premium, non-reflective finish. The vibrant, maximalist aesthetic brings a sense of joy and visibility to the card aisle, making it a timely addition for retailers ahead of Neurodiversity Celebration Week (March 16-22) and Autism Awareness Month (April).

By focusing on authentic connection and the value of individuality, ‘Wired for Wonderful’ allows retailers to engage meaningfully with the one in seven people in the UK who are neurodivergent – those who think, love and process the world a little differently.
