The inaugural London Home Fragrance Show concluded on a high, firmly establishing itself as the UK’s first dedicated trade event for the home fragrance industry.
Held on July 9 and July 10 at the Business Design Centre in London, the show welcomed 1,012 visitors across the two-day event, bringing together brands, retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and suppliers from across the sector.
Against the backdrop of a UK home fragrance market now worth more than £1 billion, the show’s launch provided a platform for businesses to discover new products, build commercial relationships, and explore opportunities for growth.
Visitors had the chance to explore a diverse range of exhibitors spanning scented candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, wax melts, textile and linen fragrances, natural and vegan formulations, scent accessories, premium packaging, private label solutions, and fragrance services for retail, hospitality, and B2B markets.
The exhibition featured names including British Wax Limited, Cerabella, French Soaps, Maison Parfum, Millefiori Milano, Stoneglow, The Fragrance Foundation, Voluspa and Wildflower Botanicals, creating a vibrant showcase of innovation, craftsmanship, and emerging trends.
Alongside the exhibition, a free seminar programme attracted strong audiences, with industry experts exploring the commercial, creative, and technical issues shaping the future of home fragrance. Topics included sustainability, regulation, consumer trends, retail experience, international growth, and advances in fragrance technology, providing visitors with insight and practical knowledge.
Exhibitors praised both the quality of visitors and the focused nature of the event. Darnesh Bhayani, co-founder of Made by Zen, said: “A lot of senior buyers attended the show, which was fantastic. It was great to be part of a smaller, more focused show, where we were able to have more meaningful conversations.”
Brittany Bell, director of fragrance and education at Voluspa, also reflected on the show’s success. “It’s been such a great opportunity for Voluspa,” she noted. “We met with lots of accounts, press, editors, and various boutiques, so we were very busy.”
Simona Cantoni, general manager of show organiser Honegger Group, commented: “The response to the inaugural London Home Fragrance Show has exceeded our expectations. Welcoming more than 1,000 industry visitors across two days is a fantastic achievement for a first edition and reflects the appetite for a dedicated event serving this dynamic sector. It’s been incredibly encouraging to see the quality of buyers, the enthusiasm of exhibitors, and the genuine business opportunities created throughout the show. We’re extremely grateful for the overwhelming support from across the industry, and are already looking forward to building on this success for next year’s event.”
Planning is already underway, with organisers looking forward to welcoming even more brands, buyers, and industry professionals as the event continues to grow as the UK’s dedicated meeting place for the home fragrance sector.
