Beautiful new collection from homeware and gift designer, marking her 10th year in business
| Inspired by the British hedgerows, the Wildlife in Spring Collection has been launched by the company’s eponymous designer Victoria Eggs. Using muted tones of vintage blue, the delicate illustrations are of some of Britain’s most well-known birds and flowers, highlighting a nostalgic and hopeful view of this blossoming time of year. This hand-drawn design features a blackbird, sparrow and wren surrounded by budding blossom, beautiful roses and elegant magnolia. The Wildlife in Spring Collection is proudly made in Britain, working with members of the British manufacturing community to create this special range. The textiles are printed, hand sewn and finished by a family run business in Lincolnshire and the beautiful fine bone china mugs are hand printed and decorated in a traditional English factory. This is Victoria’s proud salute to all that makes Britain British. The range includes an apron, t-towel, oven gloves, set of coasters, mugs, tea and shortbread biscuits. Victoria graduated from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design in 2005 with a BA in Fine Art. Whilst in Sydney, Australia designing T-shirt graphics for iconic fashion and homewares brand Ben Sherman, she became fascinated by the British imagery and traditions from hearty British grub to a good cuppa and blackberry picking to sticks of rock at the seaside. It has been an exciting 10 years from selling her first mug at Spitalfields market in London to now stocking over 100 retailers in the UK and overseas with her nostalgic and eye-catching homeware and gifts.
