The Trend Showcase will be a key highlight at the Exclusively Show, returning on June 9 and June 10 to the Business Design Centre in London (organised by BHETA). The show brings together buyers and brands from across the gifts, housewares, tableware, and small domestic appliances sectors to explore innovations and insights shaping future consumer demand.
Delivered in partnership with trend forecaster Scarlet Opus, the Trend Showcase provides a dedicated space for expert forecasting, curated product displays, and immersive presentations designed to help retailers futureproof their businesses.
This year’s Showcase will introduce three key trends, led by ‘The Dreamers’ – a consumer mindset shaped by global uncertainty. While consumers remain aware of instability, they are increasingly seeking emotional lightness, escapism, and small everyday joys. This trend reflects a growing desire for optimism, comfort, and imaginative experiences in daily life.
The Showcase brings insights and application together through a curated product display which brings each trend to life, showing exactly how ideas translate into real retail opportunity.
A programme of presentations and guided tours runs throughout the event. The presentations introduce each trend and unpack the thinking behind it, while the guided tours connect those ideas directly to the products on show.
For the first time, visitors to the Trend Showcase will be able to download a dedicated Buying Guide, designed to extend the value of the show beyond the exhibition floor. It will support retailers in revisiting key insights and applying them directly to their buying and ranging strategies.
A dedicated HORECA presentation will also debut this year, highlighting how emerging trends are shaping the sector at a time when dining is increasingly seen as a full, immersive experience rather than just a service.
