Design-led party and homeware brand Talking Tables has joined BHETA (British Home Enhancement Trade Association).
From recyclable napkins to recycled plastic tote bags, Talking Tables is a go-to brand for innovative and sustainable products that add fun and style to every gathering. As a certified B Corp, the company is committed to doing business better and providing customers with the assurance that the purchases they make are sustainable as well as creative.
It was at her mother’s kitchen table that Talking Tables’ founder, Clare Harris, discovered her love of tablescaping and the joy of bringing people together. Such was the appeal that Clare made the decision to give up the security of a successful corporate career to launch Talking Tables, from her own kitchen. Rather than turning to external investors for funding, Clare has grown the business organically and to this day it remains a family-owned and -led business.
Seema Grantham, BHETA’s sector manager for housewares & small electrical appliances, commented, “Talking Tables is all about bringing creativity and fun to the market, while being equally committed to responsible sourcing. This is a great combination of experience and skills, which can now be shared with the BHETA community. Talking Tables perfectly demonstrates how innovation and sustainability can go hand in hand, inspiring retailers, and customers alike to celebrate responsibly. The brand is a great addition to BHETA.”
